This is another miserable thing I meet now..

Till now I still cannot judge which is the right thing to do, to tell the truth or not? The world is always complicated, it is no longer two angles (right or wrong). And as a Chinese, we normally choose to keep everything inside to avoid from problems. Sometimes we might think that it is very bad to say bad things of other people also.

In the other hand, if you really think that is it good to tell for their sake, maybe can try to talk to them in a positive way. Anyhow, this is still depend, sometimes they will not appreciate and it will be worse if they feel aversion with that.

Yeah I m having conflict with this also. i dont know which is the right thing to do. i asked xx before and she asked me not to tell, but in my heart, i always want to tell, maybe i m too innocent? i dont really know how the world works.. hehe..ppl might take it personally and unhappy about it. i have always tried to be straight to people and tell them whatever i think, but this has always brought me troubles and negative returns. so i m not so straight and honest to people anymore. i always think twice before i say something. no idea what is the best way. .

i think we can only be honest to the people we are very close with, like our best friend, or close friends. for boss, colleagues, we should avoid talking bad straight to the person because they might think u are attacking them. we should only compliment instead of complaining. those successful people always just talk good about people and encourage people. they seldom talk negative things about others.

I suggest not to tell. This is not because they won't listen or they won't appreciate, but they might misunderstanding your statement. Boss is like this, not because of your communication problem, it is just because of bosses mindset and staffs mindset are different and if u tell him, that this is the opinion from others, he might not happy, and feel that those staffs are not appreciate. This might happen and it always happen. that's why there is a chinese idioms -> Truth is a hard pill to swallow. '.. they might even think that you are trying to challenge him. I am not sure how is your boss, but just feel that you are not the right person to mention that, since you are leaving, left them to the existing staffs.. you can give suggestions like where to improve or enhance, but just limit to a few suggestions and don't be too much..
